Alchemy are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted to attend the National Ploughing Championships in the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena this year for their Alchemy TD dry digestion system. The National Ploughing Championships is one of Europe’s largest outdoor agricultural trade exhibitions and takes place in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, between the 18th-20th September 2018.
The Enterprise Ireland awards were launched by Minister for Business Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD, and the Innovation Arena provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and start-ups operating in agri and agri-tech to showcase ground-breaking agri-related developments. Inventions developed at home or professional innovations from larger companies are welcome to the Arena to be displayed to the thousands of visitors the National Ploughing Championships attracts each year. Last year’s event broke records with 291,000 attendees over 3 days.
This year, in addition to the thousands of Irish visitors who attend the Championships, Enterprise Ireland will welcome more than 100 international buyers, investors and journalists from across the globe. As an Innovation Arena finalist, Alchemy will have the opportunity to meet and pitch to an international panel of agri-tech accelerators and will be in the running for one of the Enterprise Ireland prestigious Innovation Awards.
