As a team we are totally dedicated to biomass gasification based energy technologies and projects. We have built an experienced and capable team in the UK and also enjoy support from some of the most progressive and innovative technology suppliers in the industry. Together with these partners we have built some of the most challenging and successful biomass gasification projects throughout the world. One notable example is via one of our technology partners Volter Oy who have developed what is possibly the world’s most demanding application of biomass gasification technology.

Operating well within the Arctic circle the Kempele Ecovillage is an off grid community of approximately 10 newly built homes which are built to the highest environmental standards. Making gasification work is one thing, but making it work in harsh and demanding circumstances demonstrates the unique robustness of the solution. Our approach to developing the UK market started with investing in our own project at Holywell Farm which became the first technology of its type to be used in the UK and the first to be accredited for both ROCS (renewable electricity) and RHI (renewable heat) incentive payments.

By running our own plant we have been able to further enhance the customer experience by pre-engineering all of the requirements we need for the UK market, and making refinements where needed. We are now building on our experience and are constructing new projects in all corners of the UK in many different sectors, from Universities, to Leisure Facilities, Farms and Commercial properties, all of which can benefit from the same low cost, clean heat and power solution.

With the robustness of our technologies and the manner in which we have pre-engineered our solutions, you can be confident on the system doing what was promised, and continuing to do so many years into the future. Please see our case studies for a small selection of the projects we have delivered and also the news section for details of new projects as they arise.
