The winners of the 11th annual Mercury Business Awards were revealed at a glittering ceremony on the night of Friday 20th May.
The awards were hosted by BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Melvyn Prior at Greetham Valley Hotel, Golf and Conference Centre.
In what turned out to be a hugely successful evening for the team at Arbor it started when they were presented as the winner of the award for best new start up, by Hegartys Solicitors. Arbor were a standout choice in this award category given the success and growth they have seen in such a short period.
Arbor Heat and Power won its second award of the evening in the business innovation category, sponsored by South Kesteven District Council. Judges were impressed with Arbor’s innovative renewable energy solutions and how they have really pioneered biogas CHP systems in the UK.
Green achievement, sponsored by Larkfleet Group of Companies, was the next award and went to Sacrewell. Arbor Heat and Power, in a terrific night for their contingent of 18 staff that were present, was highly commended in the category.
To round off the evening it was another win for Arbor Heat and Power when Ewa Marek took the award for employee/team of the year from judges from sponsor Bulley Davey.

We are absolutely delighted to win these awards. Our small and dedicated team have worked extremely hard over the last few years to get us where we are now. To get the recognition within our local community is a real honour for us all.
