Apr 23, 2016

Arbor Heat and Power have recently been presented with a framed shirt from Stamford Rugby Club to thank them for their generous support over the last 3 years as 1st Team sponsor. The local renewable experts Arbor Heat and Power have been sponsors since the start of the 2013/14 season when the prospect arose.

CEO Richard Griffin commented: “Arbor Heat and Power have always been serious rugby enthusiasts, regularly running team building trips to Twickenham for the 6 Nations. When the opportunity came round to support Stamford Rugby and give something back to the local community, we jumped at the chance! We are extremely proud to be associated with the club and all it stands for”

The team at Arbor have even more of a vested interest in Stamford Rugby than most, now with four employees also playing for the club. Dan Griffin, Stephen Taylor, Tom Wire and Club Captain Nick McDowall all swapping their office attire for club colours on a Saturday.

Stamford Rugby Club President Neil Joley was in attendance to make the presentation to Arbor. “This framed shirt is just a small token of our appreciation to Arbor for their continued support and sponsorship. We hope the relationship continues to grow along with the club.” says Neil.
